What is Offshore Accounting Hub?
The offshore accounting practice of ProLead Business Consulting, founded in 2012. Qualified accountants in India do bookkeeping, month-end close and audit support for US CPA firms, Singapore practices and growing companies, with senior review on every file.
Why did ProLead build the Hub?
The largest companies and the top accounting and audit firms have long run their own delivery centres (GDCs or GDS) in India for accounting, reporting and audit work. Firms outside the top ten and growing businesses have mostly been left out, because building a centre only pays off at scale. The Hub gives them the same model, with nothing to set up in India. Read
why we built the Hub.
What services do you offer?
Bookkeeping, month-end close, audit and review support, AP and AR management, reconciliations (including payment gateways and marketplaces) financial reporting under US GAAP, SFRS or IFRS, US business tax returns, internal audit support, and controller and fractional CFO support. White-label support for CPA firms is available on all of them. See
services.
How is pricing structured?
Most firms pay a fixed monthly fee per client file, quoted on transaction volume and complexity. Overflow work is billed per chargeable hour from USD 12, and a dedicated team member starts at USD 600 a month. These are starting prices; the actual fee depends on scope. See
pricing.
How quickly do you close a client's books?
Between working day 5 and working day 8, depending on the client: how clean the feeds are, how quickly documents arrive and how many entities are involved. We agree the target for each client upfront.
What are your working hours?
Our US team works 3pm to midnight India time, which covers the first half of the US Eastern working day. Our Singapore team works Singapore hours.
Who leads the Hub?
Prashanth Vellanki (FCA, CIA, CFE, DISA) leads the Hub, with partners Prem Kumar Y, Ajay Kumar Narra and Prasanth S S leading execution. Iqbal Singh Grover, a licensed CPA (USA), reviews US work case by case, and Alex Choong (ACCA, CA Singapore) leads Singapore. See
about.
Can a US CPA review the work?
Yes, where an engagement needs it. Iqbal Singh Grover, a licensed CPA (USA) and FCA, reviews US work case by case, on top of the senior review every file already gets.
Which software do you work in?
QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books and NetSuite, plus ecommerce and payment platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Stripe and PayPal, and bill, payroll and expense tools. ProLead is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Platinum, a Xero Certified Partner and a Zoho Authorized Partner. See
software.
How do we start?
With a scope call and a test batch of one or two client files, usually as part of a
90-day pilot billed as a fixed monthly fee agreed upfront.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No setup fee and no notice period during the pilot. If you continue after 90 days, we sign a separate contract with service levels.
Can clients contact your team directly?
Only if your firm wants that, for example to collect documents. By default we work through your firm.
Do you sign audit opinions or tax returns?
We do not issue audit opinions; your firm keeps audit judgements, review and sign-off. For
US business tax returns, CPA firms review, sign and file the returns we prepare, and for businesses we serve directly a licensed US CPA reviews each return before it is filed.
