The three pricing models
| Model | How it works | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Per client file | Fixed monthly fee per client entity, set by volume and complexity | Firms that want a known cost per client |
| Hourly | Billed for hours worked | Overflow, clean-ups and one-off work |
| Dedicated team member (FTE) | Monthly fee for a person who works only on your files | Steady, high-volume work |
What drives the price
- Transaction volume and the number of bank, card and loan accounts.
- Complexity: classes, multiple entities, inventory, deferred revenue, foreign currency.
- Scope: bookkeeping only, or close, reporting and audit schedules as well.
- State of the books: clean files cost less than files needing catch-up.
- Turnaround: tight deadlines need more people at the same time.
- Seniority: senior accountants cost more than bookkeepers.
How to compare with a local hire
A local hire costs base salary plus benefits, payroll taxes, software and space; firms often add 25 to 35 percent to salary for these. Use our savings calculator with your own figures, then add the time your reviewers spend today on re-work.
Our prices
Per client file: custom quote. Per chargeable hour: from USD 12, billed monthly for hours actually worked. Dedicated team member: from USD 600 a month. Senior review and an engagement manager are included. See pricing.
